Dark tales

A fashion-ish photoshoot that I did with my lovely friend Robyn a few weeks back. We are in the same lessons for art and I always see her do these dark, gothic & romantic drawings. In every class she’ll show us about 10 new drawings that she did through the week.

After I asked her to model for me, I started to think about what sort of themes to go for. Then I thought why not go with our own styles and see how a clash of two different styles looks. So her style being dark and gothic, we went with a little black dress. My style is heavily nature based. So we went off shooting in the park with green surroundings.

 Shooting this dress was quite dramatic. It was little too big for the model. Usually we clip the dresses in the back to fit them perfectly on models but this wasn’t working so well with the clipping. We had such a short time to shoot this due to the risk of it falling off or such. I was really lucky for having such a lovely team of creative people with me.

I have an Asian Bridal shoot tomorrow. Goshh my excitement’s reached the sky!

Garden of Endless Dreams

 

There was once a girl, she was so very lost. An evil witch has tricked her into staying in the witche’s prison for the rest of her life, all alone. Little did the witch know of the girl’s innocent dreams. Soon after the witch left the little girl on her own, the place started to turn into a garden. An enchanted magical garden. Her personal secret garden. A garden filled with dreams, hopes and magic. Also a lot of innocent beauty.

I had such a hard time choosing which images to edit. I took endless photos. I need to learn not to take billions of images because I can’t edit all of them and it upsets me when I just leave images unedited. Makes me think that those images are feeling unloved. yepp.. I treat my images as if they consist of emotions. :)

I have more from this day with different outfits and themes. I shall get onto posting those soon too, as long as I don’t get unwell again.
